Our Mock Exams run from May to August and booking opens in March each year.

Session Structure

The school will be open from 09:15 to allow pre-registration toilet visits.

10:00Test: 11+ English Comprehension & Verbal Reasoning (VR) & Writing*
11:00Break for 20 minutes
11:20Test: 11+ Numerical (Maths) & Non-verbal Reasoning (NVR)**
12:30End of session

*The 10 minute continuous writing section is only available at Brentwood, Chelmsford, Tonbridge and Reading. 

**You can elect that your student does not do NVR, however we recommend that all students complete the NVR section as this provides additional insight into your student’s reasoning skills and the overall rank in the feedback report can be viewed including/excluding NVR.

How can I get more practice and feedback on my child’s Creative Writing?

In addition to providing a short creative writing section as part of the mock exam, we are offering something even better – a Writing Feedback Service for use throughout the year.

Park on Northumberland Avenue and walk into the school.

See the map below showing the entrance from Northumberland Avenue, and the road that leads to S-pod. There is a double gate on this road, the one directly in front of you leads to S-pod, the one on the right leads to New Directions College, which is a completely separate business. If you follow the road straight through the gate, it will lead to the S-pod car park where you will see school minibuses located.

    Also a bottle of water can he leave somewhere?
