Verbal Reasoning Type 6 is a verbal reasoning question type commonly found in 11+ Entrance Tests in the United Kingdom.
In the following questions there are three pairs of words. You must complete the third pair in the same way as the first two pairs.
To get the answer, you have to understand the relationship between the first word and the second word in brackets and how all three groups are linked to each other. The second word in brackets is made up of the letters of the first word. Find out which rule is being applied to the first two groups in order to find the answer for the third. For more tips in solving the question efficiently, watch the video beneath.
Tip: On the Answer sheet, it is helpful to eliminate all the answers that you feel are definitely incorrect first. In GL Assessment exams, the multiple choice answer sheet tends to give options which are anagrams of the word from which you have to make your answer. This can make the question a little harder.
