Instructions
Choose which one of the five figures to the right of the dotted line is the reflection (mirror image) of the figure on the left.
Method
Concentrate on one feature of the shape that gives you a clear indication of whether the shape is a reflection (mirror image) of the original. Look for curved lines within the shape, for example the direction of the bend of an arrow. In order to find the correct answer, it is helpful to eliminate all the wrong answers first.

Examples
Example Question 1:

Answer: b
Explanation: In a mirror image, what was on the left side will be on the right and vice versa, but there are no changes to what appears at the top or bottom, so you can start by eliminating options ‘c’ and ‘e’ immediately because the flat edge of the shape should not be at the top.
Example Question 2:
Answer: c
Explanation: In a mirror image, what was on the left side will be on the right and vice versa, but there are no changes to what appears at the top or bottom, so you can start by eliminating options ‘a’, ‘b’ and ‘e’ immediately as the arrow is not on the left hand side. The white circle is in the second square on the right in the left hand image so it will need to be in the second square on the left hand side in the option that is correct.
