Instructions
There are two variations of questions:
Variation 1: Choose which shape would be made if the pair of 3D blocks are combined.
Variation 2: Choose which pair of 3D blocks can be combined to create the shape provided.
Method
Visualise the blocks combining in all the ways they can fit together. It is often easiest to start by eliminating the options that clearly cannot be correct e.g. option d which has 3 columns of blocks the same height.
