Choose which image is the outcome of subtracting the second shape from the first shape.
Method
Imagine the shape in the second square is like a cookie cutter that cuts out that shape from the first shape (the cookie dough). Look carefully at what the second shape looks like so when it is cut out from the first, you will be able to identify the correct option. If it is a very detailed shape, pick part of the shape and try and find that first. Then see if the rest of the shape is there too.
