unable to assign tests

    2 days running now i have been trying to assign tests to my daughter and the site is not allowing me to

    what do i do?

    I have just logged in to your parent account and successfully assigned two tests to one of your students. I did this my going to My 11 Plus > Test List then selecting a test to assign and clicking the green ‘Assign Selected Tests’ button.

    Please can you reply to this post and describe at which point you run into a problem.
    Are you being given any error messages?

    hi i log on and tick my students name then select a test and click on green assign button, nothing happens. there is a green bar which has processing in it but it never gives me choice to USE MY CREDITS.

    few months back the website was different and it worked fine.

    which test have you allocated because you have used 2 of my credits?

    oh it also says i have not assigned any students but i have clicked on the name and dont know what else im supposed to do.

    aslo i cant log out.

    the old version website seemed much better easier

    ok it looks like i have figured out the problem, i am using an old computer which does not support the website therefore i see a very different version of the site. on my newer i pad its totally different.
    thank you, i hope it goes well now, will need to check daughter has up version on her computer.

    Thank you for letting us know that you have found the problems were occurring due to using an old version of your internet browser. I was just about to ask you which browser you were using, but you solved this on your own.

    You can of course unassign the tests that I assigned to your daughter and you will get the credits back if you do not want her to do these now. To unassign a test, you need to go to the TEST ACTIVITY tab (which shows a list of all assigned tests and their status), select the tests and click the green ‘unassisgn selected tests’ button.

    i have been going through my daughters test results, English mock test 2009 A
    she scored 21/50 but many of the answers were marked with a cross but when going through them were actually answered correctly. the following questions were incorrectly marked, 2,7,8,9,11,13,14,15,17,23,27,36,39,47,49,50.
    please could you look into this as this has happened before and record the correct score on the activity area.

    @s.alam I have just reviewed the test (English mock test 2009 A) your child completed recently and the marking appears to be working properly. The correct answer is highlighted in green and the black tick indicates which answer you chose. If two answers were required for one question, then both answers must have been correctly selected for that answer to be marked as correct. If only one of the two answers was chosen, the answer will be marked as incorrect.

    However, thanks for getting in touch about this and we will see if we can get the black tick changed to a circle or rectangle to make it easier to distinguish from an answer that is actually correct.

    Hi I’m still getting occasional answer being marked wrong but when reviewed the black line and green are on the same answer. Also my daughter has saved a paper mid way and when she has tried to resume it has automatically finished the test and not allowed her to resume. I am very disappointed by this as I cannot trust the results on her test activity and have to work out the scores myself which this site was supposed to do for me. I have paid for a service which I feel I cannot rely on.
    Please can you look into this and rectify it.
    I have no confidence In purchasing any more credits or recommending this site at present. Even booking mock exams was not clear what session booking for.

    Hi Subohi,

    Please could you help us find the errors you are experiencing. Which question, in which test, was marked incorrectly? I just reviewed a few attempts at random but couldn’t identify any problems.

    As for resuming tests, I also tried this and it worked as expected. Is it possible that your daughter decided to pause the test just before the time was due to run out? If this was the case, on resuming the test, there would only be a very short amount of time remaining before the test ended.

    We want to make sure everything works for you. If you could provide us with more details on each error then we can investigate those further.
