Instructions
In each of the following questions, find the letters that best complete the sentence. The alphabet has been provided to assist you.
Method
To solve this question you look at the relationship between letters in the Alphabet Line. The usual method is to work out how the first letter of the first pair relates to the first letter of the second pair then look at how the second letter of the first pair relates to the second letter of the second pair. Apply those same rules to the third pair to find your answer. There are exceptions to this - therefore see the variations.

Standard
Work out how the first letter of the first pair relates to the first letter of the second pair then look at how the second letter of the first pair relates to the second letter of the second pair. Apply those same rules to the third pair to find your answer. The relationship is found by moving forwards or backwards along the Alphabet Line
Example: In each of the following questions, find the letters that best complete the sentence. The alphabet has been provided to assist you. A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z HU is to FW as ME is to [ _____ ] Answer : KG
Mirror
This variation should only appear on multiple choice papers. If the answer found using the usual method is not on the answer sheet then the Mirror Type Relation may apply. The letters are not related by moving forwards or backwards along the Alphabet Line as is normally the case. Instead a Mirror Type Relation is used.
The basic idea is that each letter has a partner which is a mirror image of itself.
Example: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ ZYXWVUTSRQPONMLKJIHGFEDCBA A and Z (1 from start and 1 from end of alphabet) B and Y(2 from start and 2 from end of alphabet) C and X (3 from start and 3 from end of alphabet, etc.

Reverse Mirror
This is similar to the Mirror variation but instead of relating the first letter of the first pair to the first letter of the second pair, you relate the first letter of the first pair to the second letter of the second pair and the second letter of the first pair to the first letter of the second pair.
