11 Plus Exams Uk

Great site. We've been using you papers and cards. Are some papers harder than others? My daughter gets much higher results in some papers lie AFN and The Tutors cds but lower scores on your papers and IPS papers. How do we know which papers are the right standard?

Yes, some papers are easier than others. They a11 claim to be close to the real nfer test but some are definitely too easy to be good practice. I've got a good mind to remove your reference to The Tutors papers. They are closely linked with the elevenplusexams website which refuses to mention our free 11+ papers even though it mentions other commercial websites. Strange that an impartial website fails to mention a huge free 11+ resource which has a proven record of helping children to pass the 11+ exam. I digress...

Our papers are often considered harder, not because they are way above the standard of the real exam but because we put more of the harder question variations in our 11+ papers. To give you an example of what I mean, in the real exam there may we11 be an easy question or two say a sequence like 2,4,6,8, ?
We don't see much point in practising lots of easy ones so we only add a couple of those and more of the harder ones. That way you'11 get faster at the tricky ones which wi11 save you time in the exam.

IPS seems to be a good level of difficulty as does Susan Daughtrey.
