Hi there, I am trying out for Parkstone Grammar School. Are you?

I decided to make this forum (which hopefully will be hot discussion!) and see if you can answer the questions. Don't worry if you can't - just post so, and someone will post back with a helpful reply!

In the following questions there are three pairs of words. You must complete the third pair in the same way as the first two parts.

EXAMPLE

( MINUTE, MENU ) ( CENTRE, CENT )
(SPIRIT, ........)
Have a go by working it out on paper.
Your answer should be STIR.
To get the word MENU from MINUTE you take letters 1, 6, 3, 4, and that should be the same order you can find CENT from CENTRE. Does it word Yes it does! Congratulations!
