My son was disappointed to have this question marked wrong. For a regular hexagon, the internal angles definitely do not add up to 360 degrees, which is what the 'correct' answer is saying, they add up to 720 degrees!

Could you double check the name of the paper and the question number because I've just checked Maths online test 5, Q22 and it is nothing to do with a hexagon!

Was it an online test on 11plus.co.uk or a downloaded paper?

It is maths test 5, online, just cut and pasted the following:

Chuckra 11 Plus Exams - Maths Test 5

And it is Q 22. However... I know see that the question asks for which is incorrect, and therefore the answer works. Ooops, RTFQ as we used to be told. Can you remove my post to save further embarrassment?

I think I have the found the questionable question in question. The question is actually correct though.

Read the question again. It says 'Which of the following statements is NOT true'. As you rightly said, the angles of a hexagon do not add up to 360 degrees. Look out for tricky questions like these. They can catch you out easily.
