My son will be taking up some 11+ exams this year. We live in London, so he will be tackling those with no catchment criteria.
He is into big reading nowadays. Hope it will build his vocab.

This website has been an eye opener and my guide for the various things to try out and also I dont feel lonely when I am in this forum.

The 11+ exams are really dificult; you have to prepare and work like 24/7 and that's coming from me, a simple 11 year old.

I have a few days until i have to sit the test and it is really difficult; i have to practise alot and my parents are trying their best to educate me more so i go to the school i want to go to.

Best wishes Red. I hope you succeed. You seem to have a good attitude. Yes, it can appear tough but as you know it has to be. Whatever the exam outcome, you will have given it your best shot. What more can you do? Enjoy if you can

My daughter passed - got the golden letter today!!!! She only did a small amount of work - just went through how to do each type, with two practice papers for each exam!!! She deserves that place at grammar!!!

Mine also got a grammar school place and didn't do very much for it - somehow there was never time.
