Please find enclosed a circular that we are emailing to various establishments whose students participate in the 11 plus exam. We ask you to distribute this to the parents informing them of these proposals. Unless your child goes to KEGs or CCHS then many parents will not be aware that these proposal are been considered. Our aim is to inform as many parents as possible of these proposed changes. If these proposal are not contested then the year 5 will be effected as the schools will implement these changes immediately. We, a group of parents , have raised a letter for other parents; informing them of these proposals as well as enclosing a letter for them to sign voicing their concerns. We are happy to collect them or ask your establishment to forward them to the two schools. The boys school have an open public meeting for parents to attend on the 1st of February; We have provided free transport to this meeting and we ask you to encourage parents to make use of this facility. Last year over 40% of year 7 came from outside the 12.5 mile radius
