hi there im trying to work out the best way to get started with 11+ prep for my son he is 10 and will be entering yr 6 in sept .we live in halifax west yorkshire . it shard to get consistent info my son is very bright but its really difficult to keep him motivated as he one of only a handful of kids taking the test from his school any ideas please

hi im from bradford and hoping to get my daughter into a halifax school. she is starting year 6 in september too. when we first looked at the verbal reasoning papers i think we both thought oh no way, but when you suss out how they are done they are quite easy really and she loves doing them now.
as far as i know she is the only one from her school sitting the test so thats a bit hard for her but she understands why we want it for her.
have you tried the brain training games with your son? i think theres some on here or you can buy them for games consoles.

There are some great games to help build core brain skills needed for 11 plus tests...
