I cannot stress this enough. Watch the videos - you'll be glad you did. One thing we encounter on an almost daily basis is arrogant parents who think that because they are clever, they automatically know how to do all the 11 plus verbal reasoning questions. As I have said before, the 11+ exam is, unfortunately, not a test of intelligence. It's about how well a child can perform a specific set of question types. It is very rare that anybody (even an adult) can get a decent result on their first attempt if they have never been exposed to the question types before. The key to success in the 11 plus exam is not to dive straight into full practice papers but to first analyse the question types and make sure you are aware of all the possible variations of the question types which could possibly appear.
