Now the results from the first wave of the Chuckra mock test papers are in it seems that this year the papers were slightly harder than last year.

Full marks have only been achieved in one test so far. That was a Maths test taken in Barnet, London. The same child also scored the top mark in NVR and English. This shows that although the tests are slightly harder this year, the really bright children can still get very high marks.

Tips

Obviously I can't go into detail about the actual questions, but I've noticed many children making silly mistakes. Read the questions fully and remember that sometimes the examiner might try to trick you into choosing the wrong answer! One maths question, for example, was only answered correctly by 10% of students.
